Allergic to Ice Cream? Ice cream is an all time favorite treat or dessert. Everyone normally enjoys eating a good bowl of ice cream. Honestly, why wouldn’t they? Yet, there are those who are not able to enjoy it, because there’s something about it that makes them sick. Milk might be the culprit that is behind this riddle. There are several people who are very allergic to milk and any product that contains milk. This means they will not be able to like things like cheese, butter, breads, cookies, cakes and various other foods. If they eat anything that has milk in it they can become very sick, while breaking out in a rash or hives and throwing up. Their body is not accepting the milk and is reacting to it the only way it can. There are substitute foods that don’t contain real milk for those who have this problem. Buying or preparing foods that are lactose-free will help, but seeing a doctor is the ideal method in dealing with milk allergies.

The Power of Latex Many of the items used each day contain a substance that is otherwise known as latex. Latex is used with products, such as gloves, undergarments, band-aids and various other things. Hospitals are famous for using products that are made with latex. However, many people cannot tolerate the latex and will their immunity will respond in a negative manner when coming in contact with it. When a child gets a shot or vaccination, a band-aid with latex is placed over the area that was given the shot. The child may start to cry or state that the band-aid is hurting in the area it has been applied. This could be because of the latex irritating the skin. If there is an allergic reaction to latex, the skin can become inflamed, red and burn. Use Vaseline or baby oil to remove it.
